Anti Aging Products

Truth or Hype?

By Claire Baggerly

Here is an article about anti aging products. I hope you find the information helpful! Editor.

There are a lot of so called miracle cures out there on the market today. I'm sure you've seen the ads. Many of these are either for dramatic weight loss, or they are to stop the effects of aging. It's difficult to tell just what is truth and what is a bunch of hype, until you try the product for yourself. After a while, you learn the difference between honest companies and those who want to make a fast profit before disappearing into thin air. When it comes to buying an anti aging product, you should know some things about skin before you buy.

There are a myriad of lotions and other products that are advertised as the prefect anti aging product to help you look and feel younger. Terrific! So why then are there still so many people walking around with wrinkles? There are many things our skin loses as we age, and collagen is one of them. If you look for an anti aging product, you will see that many of them claim to put collagen back into your skin to help smooth out wrinkles and fine lines. Guess what? They can’t. You cannot apply collagen to the surface of the skin and get anything other than skin that will be softer for a few hours.

The same can be said with almost any other ingredient. The best anti aging products will work from the inside out. It’s tricky, and I know a lot of people will be surprised when they hear this, but the very best anti aging product you can use is water. That's right! Water is essential to our bodies, and if you don’t have enough of it, your skin will show it. Water won’t stop you from aging, but it will help keep your skin smooth. Vitamins are also important. The more you take, the healthier every organ and every system of your body will be.

There may be a miracle anti aging product out there, but I just haven’t found it. I don’t feel I have a huge problem with wrinkles yet, but I suppose more will may be on the way any day now. I look reasonably young for my age, but I know I won’t always remain that way. As of right now, the only anti aging product I plan on using in the future might be something that rejuvenates the skin by removing the dead cells from the surface. These also help to stimulate blood flow, and that is one thing that makes good sense to me that I think might just help. Other than that, unless I want to iron my face, or get a face-lift every five years or so, I may just have to learn to live with my wrinkles. I'll blame them on my kids. LOL
